  • Applicants must have successfully completed a degree course in law at a German or non-German university.

  • Participants must prove a minimum of one year work experience in addition to their undergraduate or first degree.

Currently, there is a tuition fee of 4.750 € per semester, which means a total of 9.500 € for the full-time program. For the part-time program the tuition fee is 2.675 € per semester, in total 10.700 €. In addition to the tuition fees the university charges the general semester fees and dues. Full-time students have to pay the tuition fee each semester, part-time students have to pay the tuition fee for two semesters in advance.
Tuition fees for the Double-Degree master’s program are determined by the university, in which students are registered. In addition to that students have to pay the general semester fees and dues.

FU Berlin does not charge tuition fees for consecutive master’s programs. Instead, the university charges all students with “semester fees and contributions” of circa EUR 300 each semester, including public transportation costs in Berlin.

Students enrolled on the fee-paying basis pay tuition fees set by SPbU, which is fixed at the sum of 90.000 roubles per semester.

  • An above average degree on par with a Bachelor in History, Regional Studies, or a related field that includes equivalent historical or regional topics (minimum of 60 credits), which can be proven with a transcript of records. In all cases, at least 60 credits must be accredited from historical or regional courses.
  • The MA Global History is an English-language program. Therefore, all applicants to the program must prove that they have English skills at a C1 (CEFR) level or higher.
