Non-EU/EEA/Swiss citizens: The full programme tuition fee is SEK 310 000
Non-EU/EEA/Swiss citizens are generally required to pay an application fee of SEK 900.

EU/EEA/Swiss citizens: There are no tuition fees for EU/EEA/Swiss citizens
EU/EEA/Swiss citizens are not required to pay an application fee.

Entry Requirment

Duration: Two years (120 ECTS credits)

English language tests

TOEFL
Paper-based test: total result of 575 (written test, minimum grade 4.5)
Internet-based test: total result of 90 (written test, minimum grade 20)

IELTS
A minimum overall mark of 6.5, with no section lower than 5.5 (only Academic Training accepted).

 

Programme specific admission requirements

A Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in economics, mathematics, or engineering including courses corresponding to at least 30 ECTS credits in economics and/or mathematics and/or statistics.

 

Programme specific documents

In addition to the general documents required, the following set of documents is required for the Master's programme in Economics of Innovation and Growth:

  • GRE ‐ GRE is not compulsory for admission to KTH, however high GRE scores are considered a merit. If you have taken the GRE test, please provide a copy of your test results.

A technical Bachelor's degree with specialization in one of the following fields: Mechanical Engineering, Design and Product Development, Information and Communication Technology, Computer Science and Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering or equivalent. A Bachelor's degree with a specialization in Industrial Management does not fulfil the specific requirements.

A basic course in Industrial Management is however required to fulfil the specific requirements.
