EU/EEA/Swiss citizens are not required to pay an application fee.

Duration: Two years (120 ECTS credits)

English language tests

TOEFL
Paper-based test: total result of 575 (written test, minimum grade 4.5)
Internet-based test: total result of 90 (written test, minimum grade 20)

IELTS
A minimum overall mark of 6.5, with no section lower than 5.5 (only Academic Training accepted).

 

Programme specific admission requirements

A Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Technology (or equivalent), within Industrial Materials or a corresponding degree from other engineering programmes such as Engineering Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering and Engineering Physics provided that they include relevant courses in mathematics, chemistry, physics, thermodynamics, engineering materials and solid mechanics.

A Bachelor’s degree corresponding to 180 ECTS within Engineering Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or equivalent. The degree must include courses in Mathematics, Physics, Computing and Electronics equivalent to at least 60 ECTS. The 60 ECTS must include at least 25 ECTS in Mathematics, 15 ECTS in Physics, 10 ECTS in Computing and 5 ECTS in Electronics.

Bachelor's degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Materials science, Chemistry or equivalent, including courses in mathematics corresponding to at least 30 ECTS credits and courses in physics corresponding to at least 60 ECTS credits.

The specific requirements may be assessed as not fulfilled if

  1. The degree awarding institution is not considered to meet acceptable quality standards by the authorities of the country in which the institution is located.
  2. The degree does not qualify for admission to equivalent Master level in the country where the degree is awarded.
